Definitely improves your shots—more even extraction, no more channeling. The build quality is good, and the walnut is a classy touch. Price feels high for just a tamper, but if you're serious about espresso, it's worth it. Works on my Bambino Plus just fine.
Bought this to replace my stock tamper. The spring mechanism ensures you don't over or under tamp. Easy to clean, nice weight. My shots have been more consistent. No complaints.
The tamping force is dead on, and it fits my 54mm portafilter well. The handle is nice. But it's bigger than I expected—feels huge in my hand. Takes up more space in my drawer than my old tamper. Functionally, it's fine, but I might prefer a slimmer version. Good for the right person.
Tamper itself is good—consistent pressure, nice wood handle, works with my Barista Pro. However, delivery took 10 days when it said 2 days. The package was left at the wrong door initially. Not the product's fault, but the shipping drama left a bad taste. Product itself gets 4 stars, overall experience is 2.
